Handcrafted panchaloha bronze icon of Dakshinamurti Shiva, depicted seated beneath the sacred tree in a teaching posture. The central figure is shown in a relaxed seated pose, one leg folded while the other extends downward, placed over the subdued apasmara beneath. The lower right hand is held in jñāna/vyākhyāna mudrā, while the remaining hands bear attributes including akṣamālā and agni, completing the canonical teaching form.

A defining feature of this composition is the expansive tree canopy rising behind the figure, rendered with layered foliage and interspersed bird motifs, creating a naturalistic backdrop that frames the seated form. At the base, attendant sages are shown in seated postures, oriented toward the central figure, reinforcing the guru–śiṣya context.
